I have a Smart/RG SR505N modem/router that is not assigning DHCP IP addresses to the wireless network clients. The device is assigning IP addresses to the Ethernet (LAN) part. I have tried 2 new unit, both behave the same.
The ISP is Thinktel (Business section of Distributel) in Canada. The support is now telling that since my Windows 10, Galaxy S devices and my Apple iOS devices can not get IP addresses for the wireless part of this router, I have to buy a separate Access Point. This is ridiculous.
Can anyone confirm or not whether the wireless networking of this router works?
